Our Journey of Faith

About Our Parish

The story of Mar Thoma Valiyapally, Elanthoor — our history, our beliefs, and the community we have become.

Our Story

Rooted in Tradition, Growing in Grace

Mar Thoma Valiyapally began as a modest chapel serving a handful of faithful families amid the hills of Pathanamthitta. Over the decades, it has grown into a vibrant parish — yet it has never lost the intimacy of those early gatherings.

Today, we carry forward the sacraments, feasts and daily prayers of our ancestors while opening our doors wide to new generations, new families, and new voices in worship.

Our parish life is built around the Holy Qurbana, the sacraments, and a network of ministries that care for every stage of life — from Sunday School children to our senior members.
